God does not require you to have knowledge about everything, to understand. In fact, it is better for you that you live in some level of mystery. That tension you feel about certain things in your life is not necessarily a bad thing. If you received all the answers suddenly, like perhaps you may desire, you wouldn’t be able to walk through this and experience something about God for yourself.
If you go back to the garden, they didn’t need to know everything. They allowed God to be the one who understood everything. But when they took of that tree of knowledge and wanted to be just like God that is when we lost our way.
The journey creates something within you. You’d be deprived of a hidden blessing without it.
The desert experience is actually a blessing. We don’t want to stay in that place, that’s why the longing is there, the hope… but just because that desire is there, it does not mean we cannot find some level of rest in the tension. God is with you in every step of your journey so fully. He is attentive to you specifically. He keeps close tabs on the flowers and birds. How much more so will He not lovingly watch over you and guide you.
But how could you go back to being asleep or not believing for justice now that you’ve woken up? You are stuck in a rock and a hard place. You are living outside of the Matrix on some level, you are having to live as a wanderer rather than feel at home in the facade that is Babylon. You are Neo living in the barren wasteland of the ship, eating food that does not taste delicious but it is real and you are officially in the fight.
That’s the point. Many do not realize that they were born in the middle of a massive spiritual, (sometimes) physical, and psychological war. But you, dear reader, are awake. You are in this battle and you refuse to stand down or become complacent to Babylon’s schemes.
I realize how difficult it is to wait for justice to occur. It’s a “promise” that always seem just in reach and then, as if out nowhere, it fades away to another day. But you don’t want to give up hope. You’ve come to far in your belief. The breadcrumbs keep you going. This is stretching you over and over. This causes you pain and discomfort. It’s an Abraham experience. Think about what he went through over the years. He was told to leave his home and He’d become a great nation. He believed that initial word and followed God into the unknown. He wandered along for decades. He was not allowed to feel at home in this world. God did something in him and when his faith was made complete enough, at a very old age when it seemed impossible, his promise was born. He must have felt about halfway through that he had to achieve things in his own efforts. That’s why he had Ishmael… He did not understand fully. He must have wanted to go back many times but how could he after he came so far and spend so much of his life believing?
I doubt he had any clue the kind of experience He was in for but do any of us really do at the end of the day? Did Peter truly understand that his journey would end in being crucified upside down? I doubt it. I’m sure looking back now, Peter regrets absolutely nothing.
In our own small ways, we all go through these experiences of faith in varying degrees. Anons, themselves, have tremendous belief after all this time. Despite the delays and seeming set backs, we have yet to give up. This changes you and it can be for the better. You learn humility and how to wait for God. You learn to trust God even when you don’t understand.
This is how you become untouchable to the enemy. He wants to poke at the holes in your armor. Make you feel that God has abandoned you and the world. But when you simply lay down to Him and your mind is no longer your God but rather in servitude to Him, you become a stalwart. A rock that cannot be moved. People will grab onto you and thrive off your faith until they themselves form a substantial faith that cannot be broken by pressure.
Sometimes we don't have the answers nor are we supposed to.
God is doing something within us.
The love of Babylon is leaving your heart. Babylon falls in you as it is exposed in the world.
The promise of wiping away every tear and restoring His creation is there no matter what you are going through. Like a steady guiding north star.
He will finish what He set out to do. No matter what. It's going to happen.
