We all feel about the same as this tree right now, frozen, holding on. Just as God has prepared this tree to endure, he has prepared us the same. Spring, light, warmth will come. God will send beautiful song birds and butterflies to us, our reward for enduring.

New life will emerge!!

Thank you for this beautifully written message, you’ve brought us warmth on a cold day!

Thank you so much Pepe, you always know just what we're going through. Not going to lie, it's been a long road of no one listening to me, I'm a conspiracy theorist. It's hard, but at the same time people like you give us hope. Thank you🙏

It's not easy being "Awake" during this time, but with the right mindset we can make something beautiful out of our time with God.

Know this...the enemy is afraid, very, very afraid of the coming Dawn, the coming Spring.

We know this because the enemy always doubles down when they are in a panic.

All you have to do is look for the signs of their fear which is apparent, and what will come to pass...

Remember this passage.

"You were looking, O king, and lo! there was a great statue. This statue was huge, its brilliance extraordinary; it was standing before you, and its appearance was frightening. The head of that statue was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its middle and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. As you looked on, a stone was cut out, not by human hands, and it struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, were all broken in pieces and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

This was the dream; now we will tell the king its interpretation. You, O king, the king of kings—to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, the might, and the glory, into whose hand he has given human beings, wherever they live, the wild animals of the field, and the birds of the air, and whom he has established as ruler over them all—you are the head of gold. After you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over the whole earth. And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron; just as iron crushes and smashes everything, it shall crush and shatter all these. As you saw the feet and toes partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom; but some of the strength of iron shall be in it, as you saw the iron mixed with the clay. As the toes of the feet were part iron and part clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle. As you saw the iron mixed with clay, so will they mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay. And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall this kingdom be left to another people. It shall crush all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever; just as you saw that a stone was cut from the mountain not by hands, and that it crushed the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. The great God has informed the king what shall be hereafter. The dream is certain, and its interpretation trustworthy."

— Daniel 2:31-45 (NRSV)

BTW: I'm not a religious person but I remember this from 50 years ago when I was in Sunday school as a child and the imagery was always so vivid and struck a true "tone" in my mind and has stuck with me.

Daniel understood something about Babylon and the bigger picture of what God was doing in the world...I agree that the world has been in such chaos because we cannot return to the status quo and that is a good thing despite the discomfort..

Pepe, you definitely have the gift of encouragement. Just when I think 'I can't stand this any longer', you come up with one of your God-inspired substacks. Thank you. Thank you.

Ernest Shackleton led an expedition to the South Pole, but his ship "Endurance" was trapped in the ice and was crushed/sank. He spent the next year and a half leading his men and knew that if he didn't keep them productively busy, they would die - mostly from a loss of morale and loneliness.

A team of a few people piled into a long "rowboat" and rowed several hundred miles to reach land and then scaled the Andes mountains with nails from the boat driven through their shoes to provide traction. A few men made it over (1-2 remained behind, unable to scale the mountains), and reached Georgetown, where he summoned help and rescued all his men.

Not a single man died..

Keeping yourself productively busy will also help you endure. Being frozen in despair will bring even worse despair and hopelessness.

Don't just hold on to hope. Be a part of having your hopes realized.

God will support you in ways that are not always immediately realized. Turn to Him.

I really needed this today. It was perfect for my state of mind.

This spoke volumes to me when I read it. I lost my 48 year old son last Wednesday to the EVIL CONTENTS of a syringe. At the time of his death, he needed 3 heart valves replaced, was on dialysis, had internal bleeding and was getting a liter of blood every other day, his liver quit filtering blood and his ammonia levels went through the roof. He fought this fight for approximately 14 months. I am so very angry at the EVIL that has slithered across Gods’ earth. My prayer is that Our Heavenly Father lets the evil know that HE DID NOT DIE AND LEAVE THAT POSITION TO THEM!!!

I pray that HE SHOWS THEM WHO GOD OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS and that he rains down his fury on every single one of them.
